Kenny

So I went to see Kenny Chesney for the second year in a row. It was pretty much awesome! There was some local band that we didn't see and then Gary Allen, Leann Rimes, Sammy Hagar?, Keith Urban, and Kenny. We got there around 10:30am and didn't get back until about midnight. There were a lot of people, lots of food, and some drinking. We met a group of older people inside who were completely drunk. They were slapping each other's butts with a towel and taking shots. The guy bought us some shots that were terrible. They were crazy! Kenny got on at about 9 and it was just crazy from there. Good time. Can't wait for next year!

Pictures

So I've been bored and I was going through all the pictures on my computer. I found the first picture me and quinn ever took together. We were in Miami on spring break with friends. We were staying at the same hotel and met the night before I left. We all ended up at a bar and quinn told me if we won pool he would marry me. We won and about a week or so later I got a package with a huge fake ring. It was pretty funny. Who would have guessed we would have made it so far. We've had our share of ups and downs but I think overall we've both had a great time...and more to come.

Vanessa's 24th

we went to glo for vanessa's 24th birthday. i guess we're getting a little too old to be celebrating but any excuse to go out and have a good time is worth it. we had a pretty good night. the picture isn't so awesome but it's the only one i have :) she had fun which is all that really matters. 3 weeks and it's my turn!

Furious

It's my own fault but I'm still really upset about it. We shipped a package that had a bunch of my stuff in it. All of my scrapbooking stuff and my winter jacket....a bunch of stuff. Apparently they repackaged it and half of it is missing (all my scrapbooking stuff and winter jacket). The stuff that they were able to send over was stinky, dirty, bent, broken, or ripped. Unfortunately I didn't insure it like I should have...stupid me. Now the only thing I can do is send a report and hope they find some of my stuff. A word of advice---insure your packages (which I'm sure everyone but me knew already)

4th and Quinn

Quinn made it into Ft Sill yesterday only to drive a half hour back out to get a hotel because there weren't any rooms available on post or even right off. Figures...poor guy just wanted to relax. He's not having a ton of fun right now. All the in processing is boring and tedious. I was with family for the 4th. We had a bbq with about 30-40 people and we all crammed under a little overhang during the torrential down pour that we got right in the middle. It wasn't too bad though. Half of the guests were too drunk to even care about the rain :) That's the family for you. It was fun, but I would have liked to hang out with quinn and the baby (bubba). Things are going ok right now. Still working on finding a job, but I've adjusted a little.

I'm Trying

I won't keep the blogs all sad and terrible. I've been doing a little better. Ask Quinn and he may not say the same, but I think I have. I don't know how to deal better. I'm going to try some art. It sounds silly, but I'm hoping I can start something that will keep me occupied so I don't bother Quinn all the time :) As soon as I have something complete I'll post it to show everyone what I've worked on.
I'm still looking for a job. I'm hoping to get something that utilizes my creativity a little more. That might keep me interested and help pass the days faster. Any ideas of jobs I should look into let me know. I tried for a graphic designer position, but I'm not really qualified for it. It's a long shot.
Any ideas for art projects let me know!!
