Memorial Day Weekend

We had a pretty busy Memorial Day weekend. It kind of started Thursday with an Angels vs. Mariners game. Quinn almost got us kicked out of that. Angels won though and I was happy because I didn't have a cranky boyfriend that night! Saturday morning we drove to Ocean City with Kyle and Laura to go to the beach. The weather wasn't as good as we hoped it would be. Actually, it was cloudy, windy, and about 50 degrees. We had a good time though. With sweatshirts and sweatpants we drank some wine (the guys had beer) and cooked hot dogs on the beach. Bubba had a lot of fun in the water. From there we drove straight to Couer D'Alene, ID to our friend's lake house. Matt and his girlfriend were spending some time there so we decided to go and hang out for the rest of the weekend. Saturday night we made some smores by the fire and Sunday we went out on the lake. Chrissy and I went tubing while the guys and Bubba drove the boat around. It was a long weekend but a lot of fun!

My OTHER Sister

Erin graduated college today with a degree in Communication Studies. She's trying to get into grad school for speech pathology, but if not she'll try to get a job in this terrible economy until she can get into a program somewhere. I couldn't be there for the graduation. I did watch it live online though so I probably got the best view of her receiving her diploma. Now my parents are done with college for their kids (bachelor degrees at least). I'm sure they cried in their seats. CONGRATS ERIN!

My Sister

My sister got engaged yesterday. They've been together for over 5 years so I'm glad the proposal finally came. He put a shirt on their dog that pretty much asked her to marry the daddy. Haha. It was cute. The ring is really nice (I've seen a picture). I'm upset though because I can't really help out with much and I can't be there for a lot of the stuff I'd like to be. It's pretty sad, but I'm sure she'll have a great time planning it. Congrats Allison and Dan!
